High Pressure Choke & Kill Hose

The choke & kill hoses come with the fire resistant red cover. If a customer’s application calls for a different tube or outer cover, the hose will be manufactured to meet exactly those specifications. With or without armor sleeve, lift lugs, safety clamps, and chains. The standard choke & kill is available in both built-in and swaged-on type assemblies. The super choke & kill is available as a built-in assembly only.

Description

Tube: Modified Nitrile. Abrasion, corrosion and oil resistant.
Reinforcement: Multiple layers of textile fabric and steel cable, with one layer middle rubber placed between cable layers.
Cover: Fire resistant rubber cover, stainless steel armored to handle abrasion, corrosion, cutting, gouging, oil and weather.
Couplings: Swaged couplings. Full range of couplings are available, such as hammer unions, flanges, hubs, male threads, etc.
Temperature: -4℉ to +250℉ (-20℃ to +121℃) continuous service.

Features

• Survival temperature is 350°F (177°C) for 1 hour per API 16C (2nd Edition) B.12.5.
• Available in various sizes and pressures.

Kill Hose Applications

API 16C certified choke and kill hose. The tube is specially compounded to resist abrasion, corrosion, oil, drilling mud, methane and H2S.
